Guildford Rail Bridge Walkway Upgrades

  • Scope of Work Summary:
  • Installation of two maintenance walkways; one on each of the two Guildford bridges (Up Main and Down Main);
  • Removal of the existing static line systems;
  • Removal of existing refuges;
  • Installation of two new static line fall arrest systems on the walkways;
  • Modifications to the cable tray storage system for services to ensure compatible installation;
  • Painting and/or corrosion protection of connection points to minimise rates of rust or deterioration;
  • Earthing and bonding;
  • Anti-climb measures and
  • Removal of existing refuge platforms.
  • Develop detailed environmental, safety and emergency management plans and frontline HSEQ documentation
  • Detailed site survey and set-out
  • Siteworks and vegetation clearing
  • Prepare and submit ASCON Drawings
