Enviro were awarded this tender to complete Routine & Specific Bridge Maintenance Works to Bridge 4020 on Glenorchy Road South in The Shire of West Arthur.:
Project Description
Works included:
- End grain cleaning & sealing
- Wing wall sheeting repairs
- Concreting footings around wing wall piers
- Cutting out of existing timber piles
- Propping of Bridge
- Design & installation of new steel piles to Main Roads Specifications
- Design & installation of temporary load bearing structure incorporating suspended walkway to perform works under the bridge safely
- Structural steel full cap replacements at both abutments
- Structural steel pile repairs
- Preventative & Preservation Maintenance to Main Roads Specifications
All works were carried out during full road closure with traffic management handled by Evolution Traffic Management with all works undertaken in accordance with MRWA specifications
