Thuroona Services - Restoration of Heritage Locomotive Engine & Tender in the Kalamunda History Village
Project Description
• Preparation and submission of all HSEQ documentation
• Design, certify, fabricate and install steel bund and plinth
• Assist Thuroona Services teams to construct double negative air encapsulation prior to remediation asbestos contamination
• UHP water blast locomotive to remove asbestos contaminated grease and rust
• Assist with asbestos clearance
• Abrasive blast locomotive and tender in preparation for protective coatings
• Undertake sheet-metal repairs to dilapidated components
• Apply protective coatings to CoK specification and colour scheme
• Provide machinery, operators and logistical support
